How to work with single layer scene templates

If you come across any single layer scene template in Smartscene, mostly in the Sketch Scene app, follow the steps below to ungroup and edit their individual parts to your taste:

Step 1:

Once the template is fully loaded in your canvas. Click anywhere on the template to select it.

Tip: If it is a single layer template, a click on any part of the design will select the whole design.

Step 2:

Click on the un-group icon by the top menu to ungroup the different elements in the design.

Step 3:

You can now select the individual parts of the scene to customise them separately. You can delete the part, change their color, replace them or add a new asset to it.

Step 4:

When you are done, if you wish, you can still re-group the assets in your design into one layer by selecting all assets (click and hold from one end and drag to cover the design to select all assets) and clicking on the group icon by the top.
